It's not you

They gathered together, not so much by chance as by fate that may have been guided, without conscience knowledge. It's at times like these, that I smile to myself - for the paths always seem to cross despite different maps and that new compass that I bought a fortnight ago. Though it all changed in a moment, as different spheres collided in some random suddeness. It was in that brief moment that clarity struck in all its brilliance and I gasped in its wake. They always told me hind-sight is 20/20, funny how in these minutes all those cute little sayings ring through your head - in the brief moment when thoughts should run deep, all I can remember is hindsight is 20/20 vision.

As my extended families chatter enveloped me, I missed you, for even though you've been gone for so long, it's just been minutes.
