Tonight
I am in a reflective mood. Sitting here, wine glass in my hand, the Shins playing in the cd player, my vanilla candle burning, pictures on the wall. I've come so far in such a short time, and yet I haven't even left the place that I started at. It's wierd, how you can leave one place so fast and run so far -that eventually you come back to it. Something to do with the universe being round. It's been a journey to say the least, and sum it up in a phrase. Sometimes I feel like I am floating, never quite settling down long enough anywhere to grow roots. Just drifting through places, some old, some new - and a whole lot of memories wrapped up with them. This is life folks - have a glass of wine, listen to some good tunes - and sit back and think every once in a while.
